In India, CSE is one of the most demanding fields. Candidates from top colleges, like Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) get paid exorbitantly. It involves jobs in software development, web designing, software testing and much more. Programming in today world has been stretched even further into other fields like Mechanical and Electronics and hence, its demands have been increasing. The advent of robotics and Artificial Intelligence too has given a boost to the demand and scope of placements in CSE.

AMC Engineering College is good for CSE, but placements are average in both the colleges. When compared to infrastructure and teaching, AMC College is better than Brindavan.

Galgotias University is better than NIET in my opinion. B.Tech in CSE from Galgotia University offers good package for it's student.

If you had PCM in your class 12th standard, then sit for JEE Main exam and score a fair percentage to get into IIEST or NIT, and then if you qualify for JEE Advance, try your best to get into an IIT.

Hey Muskan,
There are many entrances exams held by government universities for admission to B.Tech CSE. You should apply in all those entrance exams, like JEE, UPSEE, BITSAT, AMU, etc. The registration for these exams will start in November. So you should start checking official sites of colleges in the month of November.
I hope this information helpful for your bright future. Thanks.

It is a good option. You will get enough benefits of being in a private college. But placements depend on your skills.

With your category rank you might get a chance in Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College (in IT).
Well, I think you must try for other government colleges as the seats are too less. You may try Purulia Government Engineering College, Coochbehar Government Engineering College, etc.

If you were not interested in technical side, then you can do MBA from top institutes for better placements and good profile jobs where you don't have to work with coding.
