Both Manipal University and Woxsen University have their strength, but honestly, Manipal University would be a better choice among both for B.Tech in Computer Science. Manipal has been around for decades and has a strong reputation in the industry with good infrastructure, experienced faculty, and placement opportunities. You'll find a vibrant campus life, tons of extracurriculars, and a solid peer network.

Woxsen, on the other hand, is newer and growing but still doesn't match Manipal's legacy in engineering in many terms. It's good for business programs and may be become better but for CS, Manipal is more established. If yo

Hello dear,

Changing a branch in B.Tech is very difficult procedure not only in Banasthali, but also in any other institutions. Being difficult does'nt speaks its impossible.

Changing the branch basically depends upon which branch you want? If that new Branch is most sought after, then its very Impossible to get (Eg: CSE). Chances of your win is negligible.

And, if you are going after most uncommonly sought branch (CE, BioTech), there are chances that you will win, but that will require lot of headache.

Atlast, I would only suggest you, in first year only you better choose your branch carefully, to avoid after effects.

The eligibility criteria for B.Tech in Computer Science (CS) typically require students to have a background in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) for several reasons:

  • Physics and Chemistry help develop analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Understanding concepts from these subjects can enhance a student's ability to tackle complex problems, which is crucial in computer science.
  • Mathematics is fundamental to computer science. Topics like discrete mathematics, algorithms, and data structures heavily rely on mathematical concepts.
