Yes. For the Punjab state candidates, 85% Quota is reserved and 15% quota is reserved for the other states.

No. Such candidates, who have compartment in qualifying examination, will not be eligible for participate in Centralized Online Counselling. If any candidate participate in PTU BTech Centralized Online Counselling with wrong credentials then his/her admission will not be considered at the time of reporting in the allotted Institute.

There is no limit of filling choices. It is advised to fill maximum choices and to arrange them in the order of preference in the PTU BTech counselling form.

Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme is applicable for the Economical Weaker Candidates belonging to Punjab State, whose annual family income is less than 8 Lakhs. This scheme is offered as per guidelines issued by the Regulatory Body/State Govt. from time to time. For details please check notifications related to TFW Scheme. The same are available on IKGPTU Website.

At the time of admission via the PTU BTech 2025 counselling process the students require to produce the following documents in original in the admitting Institute:-

  • 10th DMC
  • 12th DMC (for Admission in Under Graduate Courses)
  • Diploma DMCs (for Admission in Lateral Entry Courses)
  • DMCs / Degree of Graduation (for Admission in Post Graduate Courses)
  • Residential Certificate (Domicile or another valid Address Proof)
  • Reserved Category Certificate (as Applicable)
  • Passport Size Photograph
  • Migration Certificate of Qualifying Exam
  • Aadhaar Card (Mandatory for Beneficiary Students)
  • Income Certificate (If admitted under Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme or Post

No. The candidate can participate under one quota only either in the 85% quota (Punjab Resident Quota) or 15% quota (Outside Punjab Resident Quota) as per his/her State of eligibility in PTU BTech counselling 2025. If any candidate fails to prove his state of eligibility at the time of admission (after seat allotment), his / her candidature will be denied/rejected.

Yes, you can participate in the both rounds of Centralized Online Counselling. If seat is allotted to you in the 1st Round and you are not much satisfied with that allotted seat then you may participate in the 2nd Round of counselling. It is advise to fill only those choices which is better than previously allotted seat. Also, you need not to pay Centralized Online Counselling fee again if it is paid in 1st round.

The PTU BTech counselling process is as follows:

  • Centralized Online Counselling Registration
  • Online Counselling Fee Payment
  • Preparation of Rank
  • Choice Filling
  • Allotment of Seat
  • Online Reporting at Allotted Institute (By uploading the requisite Documents on portal and Depositing the Semester Fee through Online Mode and Uploading the Fee Slip on portal).
  • Provisional Confirmation by allotted Institute after Verification of relevant uploaded Documents/Certificates and Verification of Uploaded Semester Fee Slip.

Once the aspirants are shortlisted for BTech programme based on JEE Main score, they need to come for counselling and document verification round. Candidates need to bring the below documents for verification:

  • Jamia Hamdard application form
  • Class 12 marksheet
  • JEE Main scorecard
  • SC/ ST Category Certificate (if any)
  • State and National Sports Player Certificate (if any)
  • Person with Disability (PwD) Certificate (if any)

PTU BTech 2025 counselling will start in soon. There will be two rounds of counselling. The candidate has to pay Counselling Fee of Rs. 2,000/- (Non-Refundable) to participate in Centralized Online Counselling. : The candidate must carry all the related document(s) at the time of reporting / admission, based on which he/she is participating in Centralized Online Counselling and claiming the seat, otherwise, the provisionally allotted seat will be cancelled and candidate will have no right to claim the seat again.
