This would depend a lot on your long term career goals. If you intend to return to India then UK is better, however, if you intend to explore permanent settlement abroad as well then Canada is the better option as the government rules are more flexible in terms of work opportunities post MBA. Financially as well, Canada would be cheaper compared to UK.

Hello Rakesh, It is very nice and good to know that you are interested in doing either M.Tech or MS abroad after completion of the B.Tech in India. M.Tech will keep you updated and in your core area of competency even as you are in employment. On the other hand MS will slightly take you away from this core area. Frankly speaking, both these options are excellent and will provide you with fulfilling your dreams. Best wishes to you.

After Polytechnic/Diploma, you have to take English proficiency test, it's called IELTS. It's an international level exam and after giving IELTS, if you get a good band then you may apply for the university of your choice and pursue B.Tech from Canada.
Thank you.

Hi,
Admissions will be a challenge with this percentage in Canada. You should try in other countries, check options in Australia, Italy, Poland, etc.

Hi Subin,
Getting a job initially will be difficult particularly because you are a foreigner unless you want to work in a retail store. So it depends what kind of job you want to do. Completing your PG Diploma in Canada will allow you to work for 2-3 years which sounds like a better deal.

Hi,
If you are doing B.Tech then reapplying for a B.Tech course again will not be accepted easily, so first you decide what to study. If you want to quit your current course and reapply even this will be challenging. Anyways if you are highly academic and have very good percentage you can give it a try. A very good SOP and LOR from your teachers will be required. If you want to transfer between semester you must then talk to the universities about their norms. You have to take the IELTS as well.

Very good. Canada is heaven for Indian students. But Ozz is a bit volatile towards Indians.
