The Placement at VELS School of Maritime Studies for B.Tech Marine Engineering  is very good compared to the other courses in this college.The average package for B.Tech is  5 Lacs and the highest package is almost 8 lakh. At the undergraduate level, VELS University offers three to four-year B.Tech courses to students in various specialisations. Admission to various courses is based on merit and entrance exam scores.
