It's quite interesting to see that after BE in mechanical engineering, you would like to embrace either networking and software as a career.
If I get you correctly then your question is more of development and programming.
Python
Angular JS
Jason
Java
IOS, Mobile Development
IOT technology
These are in demand and have a good future scope.
Under networking, you may pursue CCNA and then move forward with professional or security domains. In parallel, you should think of Cloud Computing as well.

As one grows older, chances of getting admission abroad become thinner. You have 9 years gap. So it may be difficult. But nothing is impossible. I suggest you approach a specialist agency dealing with sending students abroad.

With a B-Tech qualification, I would suggest you to go for M.Tech Program and thereafter you can appear for NET Test conducted by UGC (Reference - https://www.eduncle.com/cbse-ugc-net-exam). This exam is the perfect gateway for those want to make an amazing career in the field of Research or Lecturership. After qualifying this exam you can have various career options with worthwhile salary packages.
