Dear Balaji,
B.Tech mechanical with MBA will be good combination. But you should do your MBA from good business schools. If you get good score with GMAT, TOEFL you can come from a business school from US and UK. If not in India CAT/MAT entrance exams will give best b schools in India. So all the best.

Yes you can definitely pursue engineering abroad after polytechnic. In US engineering degree is called a BS degree. There are various options to pursue BS abroad. Some of the most popular universities for Indian students are - Georgia Tech, University of Southern California etc. Depending upon your SAT score and academic performance you can apply to these universities.

Hi Balaji,
Pursue a course you have interest in and have inclination for.
If you want to get into managerial line go for MBA and if you have technical bent of mind go for M.Tech.
MBA has a large quantity of jobs and major areas for building a fabulous career which can promise them a secured and flourishing future. The Employment Level and Salary packages in MBA are definitely having a upper hand over M.Tech graduates as MBA Students will start with a trademark salary of around 80 K to 1 lack bucks per month which is a huge amount in Indian currency where as in US $ they will be earning around 1000$ per Week. Even M.Tech have a good salary
