B.Tech Scope

For interior designing the eligibility criteria for the programme at Lovely professional University is Pass with 50% aggregate marks in B. Design (Interior) or B.Sc. (Interior Design) or B. Design (Product & Industrial) or B.Sc. (Product & Industrial) or B.Arch. Or B. Plan. Or B. Construction Management or B.Tech. (Any Stream) or allied fields. Career Prospects:- Interior Landscaper, Interior Design Model making, Interior Design Software trainer, Teaching and Research, Interior design Journalism, Interior design assistant with design house, Designer furniture workshop supervisor, Trading in interior design merchandise, Color consultant in paint companies, Design consultant in companies offering modular. Features:- Extensive furniture design (carpentry and metal workshop) in which student gets the opportunity to make full scale furniture pieces with understanding of various joints, working and handling materials and evaluating the strength. Focus on application oriented teaching with live interior design projects, extensive modelling and field work. Students are exposed to real site situations through in-house and external visits for visual orientation. Uniform focus on presentation and working drawings. Emphasis on digital tools as well as physical modelling at every stage of design. The eligibility criteria of M.FTech of NIFT is given below:Educational Qualification for Masters Programme in Fashion Technology- M.FTech (Master of Fashion Technology) : B.FTech. From National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) or B.E / B.Tech. From any Institute / University recognised by law in India.Age criteria : No upper age limit.Note : Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply provided: That they produce a proof of having acquired the minimum prescribed qualifications at the time of counselling/ admission. So from above you can be eligible for NIFT's M.FTech programme in final semester of your B.Tech course. However, B.Tech students are eligible for the M.FTech programme.
