Dear Hari, Well, there can be many aspects to be considered while choosing a branch (stream) for B.Tech. You have to choose the stream as per your interest. That's a good question actually, Manit. The thing is in India, every year lots of engineering students graduate from different colleges having learnt almost the same thing. So, the competition is very high. That means you have to have some unique skill in you to stand out. In the current situation, we cant actually predict anything as it is a bad time for all people. But engineering is not something that would become obsolete in the near future. To my knowledge, data analytics is one branch that is gaining a lot of attention and scope in today's world. Hello,
Yes, core companies of IT like Microsoft, Google, etc. Mostly go online for recruitment. The process of recruitment varies from company to company,. For most of the companies, they are tied up with many universities and they conduct hackathons, students are shortlisted through these hackathons. There is level by level series of hackathons and competitions. After that students are also given different live projects. Final recruitment is done on the basis of all the event and interview after.
