IITs and NITs are the best. So, if you are thinking about the higher studies after completion of B.Tech EEE, than GATE is only the option. GATE is one the gateway which can fulfill your dreams.

M.Tech does not add any real value unless you are wanting to pursue exclusively technical career or study further overseas. It depends on what kind of job you are looking for.
