No, candidates from PCB stream are not eligible to apply for Swami Vivekananda University Barrackpore BTech courses. This is because Mathematics is a mandatory subject to be eligible for BTech at SVU Barrackpore.
Candidates of PCMB stream however are eligible to apply for these courses.

Yes, management quota is absolutely available for BTech courses in Pune. About 20 to 30% of total intake seats in private engineering colleges in Pune are reserved as management quota seats, and these offer admission based on Class 12 marks directly without any need for entrance exam scores.

Echelon Institute of Technology cutoff 2025 for the CSE course and its various branches ranged from 161069 to 291452 for the General AI category.

With 80% in Class 12, you are in a good position to avail multiple scholarships at BTech colleges in Pune. At the college level, Bharati Vidyapeeth's College of Engineering offers a flat INR 10,000 scholarship to all students who score 80% and above in Class 12, while MIT World Peace University awards scholarships based on a combination of Class 12 aggregate of 80% and performance in their own entrance test.

Based on the Echelon Institute of Technology IPU CET cutoff 2025 for the General AI category, the overall BTech cutoff ranged from 161069 to 291452. Hence, students who want admission to this institute for any BTech branch have to obtain a rank of at least 291452 to be considered eligible.
Note: Other categories will have different cutoffs accordingly.

The IIIT Pune BTech CSE max. package recorded in the year 2025 was INR 45 LPA. The average package was INR 17.12 LPA. More than 40 companies visited the campus in 2025.
SDE roles were the top role with placement distribution of 30%. Last year, the highest package BTech CSE and ECE stood at INR 43 LPA and INR 21 LPA.
