Some Indian colleges that allow BTech credit transfers from Canada are:

Lovely Professional University accepts students with valid Canadian credits into 2nd or 3rd year.
Manipal University runs an international programme with transfer options.
Sharda University also allows credit-based entry.
These colleges are flexible, but final approval depends on subject match and transcripts.

If you want admission in B.Tech for CSE, IT, or ECE, you need to apply through JEE Main or your state's entrance exam. Based on your rank, you can choose colleges in JoSAA or state counseling. Fill more options, even in newer colleges—this increases your chances of getting a seat.

With 3 Lacs CRL and 11k OBC-NCL rank, chances in JoSAA are low for top branches. But don't skip counseling. Try filling all NITs, IIITs, and even lower branches. Also check CSAB special rounds later. You might still get a seat if some colleges have vacant spots.

The last rank for B.Tech admission via JEE Main for other state SC category varies by college and branch. In NITs, SC students from other states usually get CSE up to 1.5–2 Lacs rank, and lower branches may go up to 5–6 lakh. Check JoSAA's previous year cutoff for exact data.

A few B Tech Mechanical Engineering subjects in the syllabus that are usually said to be difficult to understand are Thermodynamics, Mechanics of Materials, Control Systems, Engineering Drawing, Kinematics and Dynamics of Machines, and Materials Science. There are various mathematical equations and theories involved that can be difficult for freshers to understand. Having said that, the subject that is difficult for one student can be the easiest one to grasp and manage for their friend, so it differs based on individual interest and understanding.

Absolutely. You will find many additional resources, also online learning platforms, YouTube channels, and college e-libraries, to learn about Mechanical Engineering, from the very basics to the advanced concepts. Online platforms like Coursera and edX have online mechanical courses from top universities.

YouTube gives you access to study material in the form of recorded lectures from IIT professors via NPTEL, and you can even access the e-library of your academic institution (if applicable) to advance your knowledge besides classroom lectures.
