Yes, there are more than 90 colleges in India that offer admission to the BTech Mechanical Engg. course via the CUET exam scores, including LPU, GGSIPU, Galgotias University, and Shoolini University. While not many students are aware, CUET can actually turn out to be an excellent alternative to JEE Main for admission to engineering courses like BTech Mechanical Engineering, where the exam syllabus includes the questions from the Class 12 syllabus only, as opposed to JEE Main, which covers both Class 11 and 12. CUET scores are also more likely to be accepted across various colleges than JEE Main.
