To get admission to the B Tech Dairy Technology course, you need to have at least 50 to 60 percent marks in the PCM/PCMB subjects in Class 12 board exams. Some colleges also give admission to students with a PCB background, for which you must check the admission guidelines given on the respective college websites to get a clear picture.
Further, you should also give relevant entrance exams and get really good marks to increase your chances of getting admitted to a top-ranked college.

The B Tech Dairy Technology course teaches you how the dairy products that we consume every day are processed, produced, stored, and distributed using scientific, engineering, and technological fundamentals. The course is spread across 8 semesters with a duration of 4 years. In general, pursuing a BTech degree in India requires you to invest 4 years, except for the integrated BTech-MTech courses that need 5 years.

To ascertain if the university offers good placements for BTech, interested candidates can check out the IIMTU reviews available on Shiksha.com. Based on the recently posted student reviews, around 50% to 90% of students get placed during BTech placements at IIMT University. Yes, it is possible to get a seat at IIT Ropar with a rank of 10,000 in JEE Advanced. For candidates belonging to the General All India category, the last round cutoff ranks were between 2379 and 13009. Although at 10,000 rank, the choice of specialisation would be limited, candidate can get admission to the college. A few specialisations available at this rank would be B.Tech. in Civil Engineering, B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering and B.Tech. in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering.

Admission to BTech courses at Aliah University is based on candidates achieved scores in JEE Mains/ AUAT/ WBJEE. As per the admission guidelines of the university's admission officials, direct admission to the BTech programme is not available. Candidates must qualify any of the entrance exams to get admission to the undergraduate engineering course. Candidates have to register themselves online on the official website of Aliah University to fill out the AUAT application forms. Moreover, candidates who have valid scores in WBJEE can get enroll to Aliah University BTech course through the counselling process of WBJEE.
