Biju Patnaik University of Technology accepts the JEE Mains and OJEE 2026 exams, a state-level entrance exam conducted by the OJEE Cell for admission to the BTech course.

Admission for the BTech course at Kamaraj College of Engineering and Technology is done on the basis of merit and TNEA counselling. Students need to clear the preset eligibility before applying. The basic eligibility is to complete Class 12 with PCM and English as compulsory subjects. Seat allotment is done through TNEA counselling for 65% of the seats.
