To be eligible for the BTech in SRM TRP Engineering College candidates must atleast have a minimum 50% marks in aggregate in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as prescribed by the Govt of Tamil Nadu. Also, the actual cutoff percentage required for admission to get into SRM TRP Engineering College changes from year to year and depends on the branch of engineering you want to study.

Symbiosis Indore BTech course will be shortlisted based on the entrance exams. Students will be intimidated by the exam cutoff and they will be able to check if they met the cutoff criteria. Symbiosis International (Deemed University) conducts SET or Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) for admission to the BTech course at Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences Indore. Besides, candidates who have passed JEE Main/ any other State Engineering Entrance Exam are also eligible for admission. The institute considers the merit of the candidates in the last qualifying exam for BTech (LE).

Symbiosis Indore doesn't offers direct admission to its BTech programme. Candidates must qualify for the entrance exams to be eligible for the progarmme. JEE Main or SET are the exams required for admission. However, candidates have to qualify for the BTech eligibility criteria before applying.
Eligibility Criteria: Twelve years of school education with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry /Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational subjects with a minimum 50% aggregate (45% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in the above subjects taken together.

Symbiosis Indore accepts multiple state and national-level exams for admission to the BTech course such as JEE Main, CUET, SET, etc. Admission to BTech lateral entry will be based on merit in the last qualifying exam. The final selection to BTech will be based on entrance exam score and academic qualification of the candidates.

Plaksha University BTech qualifications has multiple variations. Some of the qualification required are mentioned below:
- Applicants should be currently enrolled in or have successfully completed Class 12.
- Students from all recognised state, national and international boards are eligible.
- Applicants must have studied either (1) Mathematics or (2) Physics and Biology until Class 12.
- Academic details from Class 9-12, extra-curricular, co-curricular profile and written/video essays.
- Atleast one of SAT, ACT, JEE Main, Class 12 board scores, to be eligible for a firm offer of admission.

Plaksha University accepts multiple entrance exams such as JEE Main, SAT India, and ACT, followed by an interview round for final selection. Candidates can opt any one of the exams for addmission to the BTech course. Admission decisions are of 4 types - Firm offer, conditional offer, deferral of decision and denial. Students who apply using only predicted scores may go through an extra stage of evaluation.
