RV College of Engineering (RVCE), Bangalore does not have distance learning or part time B.Tech programmes. VCE only offers full-time, regular B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology) qualifications in numerous areas of engineering bearing in mind Computer Science & Engineering, Mechanical, Electronics, Biotechnology and more. All their B.Tech courses have to be attended through campus mode with the course lasting four years as per the Visvesvaraya Technological University norms.

For admission to BE or BTech at Kingston Engineering College, the eligibility is as follows:

Educational Qualification: Must have passed 10+2 (Higher Secondary) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

Minimum Marks: Need at least 45% aggregate marks in PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) for the general category; 40% for reserved categories.

Selection Process: Admission is through TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) counselling based on 12th marks. No entrance exam is required, but TNEA registration is mandatory.

Yes, the University Grants Commission (UGC) has approved the course of B.Tech in the field of Data Science (DS), which is conducted at Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU). The SPPU, in itself, is a UGC-recognized and NAAC-accredited public university and all the programs that affiliate under SPPU are run as such.

This central approval is assumed by any Degree programme (B.Tech or equivalent) run at or under the aegis of SPPU, including Data Science.
