No, you cannot get admission to the computer science course at any autonomous engineering college in Pune with 34 percentile in JEE Mains. Such a score is generally really low when it comes to competition in courses like computer science.

Most autonomous engineering colleges have some prescribed cutoffs for the JEE Mains score for different branches, specifically for the popular branch computer science. Usually, such cutoffs exceed much beyond a 34 percentile.

If a candidate does not meet the JEE cutoffs, they can try other ways like management quota entry or lateral entry, but normally they come at extra expense and conditions.

This might prove to be a preferable and better option if pursuing B.Tech in Chemical Engineering but wishing to opt for history and join ASI. India provides programs under history and courses and majors in archaeology as well as heritage preservation on university campuses like Jawaharlal Nehru University, Banaras Hindu University, and the University of Delhi. Moreover, major hires by ASI hail from Indian institutions with either historical, archaeological, or a related qualification.
