IISER Bhopal isn't the place for a typical B.Tech in Computer Science or Electrical. They're more into pure sciences and research stuff. You'll find BS-MS dual degrees, a BS in Engineering Sciences, and integrated PhD programs there—not the regular engineering tracks. If you're aiming for a classic B.Tech in CS or EE, better stick to IITs, NITs, IIITs, or solid private colleges.

To get into BML Munjal for B.Tech CSE, you'll need at least 60% in your Class 12 boards (with PCM + English) and a JEE Main percentile of 55 or above. But realistically, if you want to be safe, aim for over 60 percentile. They also consider CUET and BMU-SAT scores, so you've got options. The cutoff isn't insanely high, but the competition is picking up each year.

As per current AICTE and UGC guidelines, B.Tech through distance education is not permitted in India because it involves practical and lab-based training. However, you can explore alternatives like B.Tech for working professionals (part-time or evening mode) offered by some approved institutions. Always check whether the course is recognised and approved before applying.
