BTech is the most sought out after course of BITS Pilani. The course-wise placement stats are yet to be released on the offcial website of BITS Pilani. However, BITS Pilani recorded 82.75% placements for First Degree (FD) courses in the academic year 2023-2024. A total of 852 FD students registered for the BITS Pilani placements in 2024, of which 705 were placed in reputed companies. The College of Military Engineering (CME) admits primarily defence-sponsored candidates, not through open JEE channels. However, for technical programs under AIT Pune (affiliated with CME), the Mechanical Engineering cutoff for general category via JEE Main was around 88–90 percentile in 2024.
