Yes, SRHU Dehradun offers a full time BTech programme. The programme is offered in the stream of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE). In addition to the BTech in CSE, the university offers BTech (Hons) in CSE in three specialisations. These specialisations are Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Cyber Security, and Data Science & Machine Learning.The duration of the regular programme is four years. The university also allows lateral entry to the third semester of all the BTech specialisations. The duration of lateral entry programmes is three years.

NIST BTech admission is a multi-step process. Aspirants must begin with applying for the JEE (Main) as it is the accepted entrance exam for BTech admission. After appearing for the exam, they must register for the JEE counselling of their respective states. 70% of the total seats are filled through OJEE counselling while 15% of the total seats will be based on the JEE counselling of other states. At the time of admission to the BTech programme of NIST Berhampur, selected candidates have to pay an admission seat confirmation fee and a refundable caution deposit. The admission seat confirmation fee at NIST is INR 15,000. The fee amount is later adjusted toward the first instalment of the total BTech fee, which ranges between INR 4.28 lakh and INR 6.48 lakh for four years. Additionally, students must submit a caution deposit of INR 5,000 which will be refunded to them after the completion of the programme.
