REAP is short name for Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process. It is the official counselling process for BTech admissions. Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process accepts JEE Main scores for BTech admissions. The priority of Cocal that list is JEE Main. Class 12 is second and D.Voc percentage is third for the seat allotments. You can apply to REAP even if you don't have JEE Main scorecard in your hand. REAP is online counselling, students fill their college preferences and REAP allotted them seats. REAP offers seats of all the government colleges and almost all the private colleges in Rajasthan. This makes it the most important counselling process for all engineering students in Rajasthan.

With 85% in Class 12, you are eligible for admission to B.Tech CSE at both Lovely Professional University and JECRC University, but if your primary goal is placements, industry exposure, and opportunities with top tech companies, LPU is generally the stronger choice. LPU attracts a larger number of national and multinational recruiters, including Amazon, Microsoft, ServiceNow and other major tech firms, and has reported CSE placements above INR 40 LPA with some students receiving exceptionally high packages. JECRC also has a good placement record with 200+ recruiters and a reported the highest package of INR 33 LPA, but its average packages and recruiter scale are generally lower than LPU's.  Since you are interested in finance and are targeting high-paying careers, LPU's larger alumni network, national brand visibility, and broader placement ecosystem make it a better option for B.Tech CSE, provided you actively build coding skills and maintain a strong CGPA.
