The OJEE exam is primarily for Lateral Entry (joining directly in the 2nd year). However, a "Special OJEE" is sometimes conducted to fill vacant seats in private colleges after the main counseling is over.

Most government and private colleges accept JEE Main ranks for first-year admission. Some private universities also accept their own entrance exams (like KIITEE or SAAT).

The cutoff required for admission at IIST Thiruvananthapuram would depend on the course and the category. For the General category, the last round of IIST Thiruvananthapuram cutoff 2026 ranged from 28.06 to 30.28.

 Shiv Nadar University BTech cutoff 2025 ranged from 1109 to 15608 for the OBC AI category. As per this range, BTech CSE was the most competitive course for admission, with the cutoff being 1109

On the other hand,  BTech in Civil Engineering turned out to be the least sought-after course, with the cutoff of 15608. Students can refer to the table below to know the last round cutoff for all other BTech course specialisations. (The courses are listed from the most competitive to the least competitive)

Shiv Nadar University TNEA cutoff 2025 ranged from 513 to 9832 in the last round for the General AI category. The cutoff was out for different categories and engineering courses.

No, you cannot get admission at CECRI Karaikudi with the rank of 2526. But other colleges might accept your rank. 

For eg, the College of Engineering Guindy accepts a rank up to 3451 for the BTech in Chemical Engineering programme. Similarly,  Shiv Nadar University also accepts a rank up to 9832 for the same category and programme.
