BTech at Pune University is offered in full-time mode. The course is offered in various specialisations. The University ranks 37 under the Overall category by NIRF 2024 ranking. The university offers BTech through its affiliated colleges. The admission is based on merit and entrance. To get admission, you must secure a minimum aggregate in Class 12. You must also have valid scores in accepted entrance exams such as JEE Main. The tuition fee is somewhere between INR 1.2 Lacs and INR 15 Lakh.

As per the government rules and regulation,  Pondicherry University follows the seat reservations. the total amount of seats reserved for two categories, SC and ST is 22.5%. Check out the exact number of seats booked for them:

  • For SC category students, 15% of seats are reserved. 
  • 7.5% of seats have been reserved for the Scheduled Tribes (ST) category

The application fees for BTech at IIITDM Kancheepuram is equivalent to JEE Main registration fee. With the following fees according to category:

  • INR 1000 for Male unreserved/OBC/EWS category
  • INR 800 for Female unreserved/OBC/EWS category
  • INR 500 SC/ST/PwD/Transgender categories

Candidates have the option of paying the application fee online through credit/debit card and internet banking. The application form will not be considered submitted until the application fees is paid. Once the application fee is paid, candidates receives confirmation email in their registered email address confirming the payment of fees.

The eligibility requirements for a BTech course at Pondicherry University depend on the area of specialisation pursued Below are the course-wise requirements that a student has to fulfill: 

1. Computer Science & Engineering: Interested students should have completed Class 12 with a minimum of 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) in the aggregate of subjects:

  • Mathematics
  • Physics

And any one of the following optional subjects:

  • Chemistry
  • Biotechnology
  • Computer Science
  • IT and equivalent
  • Electronics
  • Biology (Botany & Zoology)

BTech admissions at Calcutta University require students to have passed Class 12 from a recognised board. Students should have a minimum 60% aggregate score in Science stream and register on the official university website. Second, applicants provide the necessary information on the application form. Finally, the merit list of shortlisted candidates will be released by the university after examining candidates' scores in academics, entrance examination, and counselling process, and those who pay the required course fees will be able to secure a seat.

BTech admissions at Calcutta University require students to have passed Class 12 from a recognised board. Students should have a minimum 60% aggregate score in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects. Further, it is necessary that the candidate hold the HSC/Class 12 pass certificate during form filling and admission confirmation. The documents are required for verification purposes. Candidates can further reach out to the admission office of the respective college for more details regarding the same.
