Yes, BFUHS offers internships to MBBS students. The course is of the duration of 5.5 years, from which the initial 4.5 years are to complete the course curriculum. Further, in the last year of the course, candidates are obliged to go through a mandatory internship. The internships are usually well paid.

The subjects that are taught in the MBBS course at BFUHS are offered in phases. Further, each phase covered different subjects.  The names of some of the subjects offered in these phases are as follows:

  • Anatomy

  • Physiology

  • Pathology

  • Microbiology

  • Pharmacology

  • General Medicine

  • General Surgery 

  • Obstetrics & Gynecology, etc.

Yes, Baba Farid University of Health Science does offer seat reservation for the MBBS course. The reservation of seats shall be as per the policy of the Government of Punjab. Moreover, the number of seats may be increased or decreased by the university and final category-wise seats will be calculated and displayed at the time of venue counselling.

Baba Farid University of Health Sciences is affiliated with four medical colleges, and the total number of seats offered is around 500. The selection process for the MBBS course at Baba Farid University of Health Sciences includes NEET UG scores, followed by a counseling process. After achieving a valid score in NEET UG, register on BFUHS's NEET UG counselling portal with your NEET roll number and details. Moreover, the university publishes a merit list for state quota students and for the All India quota.

Yes, Baba Farid University of Health Sciences does offer an MBBS course for the duration of sixty-six months. The university offers MBBS courses through its affiliated colleges too. The eligibility requirement to get admission into MBBS courses is candidates must complete their Class 12 from the PCB stream with an aggregate of 50%. Further, candidates must have secured a valid score in NEET UG.

The seat intake for the BPharm course at Baba Farid University of Health Sciences is 60. These seats are offered through the university's constituent college, namely the University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research. To get a seat in this programme, candidates must complete their Class 12 from PCB/ PCM with a minimum aggregate of 45%. Additionally, for admission,   the university releases the merit of shortlisted candidates after evaluating applicants' scores in HSC, followed by a counselling process.

Yes, candidates can apply for BPharm courses at a constituent college of Baba Farid University of Health Sciences through a single application. Moreover, the university only offers the BPharm programme through its constituent college, University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences & Research (UIPSR), Faridkot. It is not available at any affiliated colleges.

As per the information available on the admission calendar brochure available on the Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) official website, July is the tentative date to start the admission. Moreover, as the application form goes live, the university updates the information on the official website, and candidates can apply for the course through the official website.

Moreover, candidates getting admission to BPharm courses through merit are required to appear for the counselling process. Further, this counselling process can be conducted by the university or by its constituent college- University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences & Research.
