The selection process for BPharm courses at Baba Farid University of Health Sciences is based on merit. Moreover, candidates getting admission to BPharm courses through merit are required to appear for the counselling process. Further, this counselling process can be conducted by the university or by its constituent college- University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences & Research.

The selection process for BSc courses at Baba Farid University of Health Sciences is based on merit for all specialisations, except for one specialisation i.e., BSc in Nursing. For admission to the BSc in Nursing, the college accepts the scores of the Punjab Para Medical Entrance Test (PPMET). Moreover, if candidate is getting admission to BSc courses through merit or by entrance, they are required to appear for counselling process.

Yes, Baba Farid University of Health Sciences does offer BSc courses for the duration of three to four years. Further, it is divided into six to eight semesters and offered in full-time mode. The eligibility requirements for admission to BSc courses at BFUHS are that candidates must complete their Class 12 from the PCB stream with a minimum aggregate of 40%. Moreover, for some of the BSc specialisations, such as BSc (Ophthalmic Techniques), BSc (Radiotherapy Technology), BSc (Operation Theatre Technology), etc., the university accepts applicants from any Science stream- PCM/ PCB.

BFUHS has released counselling dates and schedule for Punjab NEET 2025 counselling round-2. Registration for round-2 counselling began on August 27, 2025. The deadline for round-2 registration was August 28, 2025. Round-2 provisional merit list was released on September 16, 2025. Seat allotment result for round-2 counselling was announced on September 25, 2025.
