No, Baba Farid University of Health Sciences does not provide free of cost education to students. The university motivates students to pay the fee in time to avoid the late fee submission charges. Those students who feel the fee is a little expensive must apply for the scholarships.

Baba Farid University of Health Sciences vibe is usually considered as good and positive. Students feel that the faculty are supportive and knowledgeable. Baba Farid University Faridkot has a big library with multiple collections of books and journals. The interior of the college's library is enabled with Wi-Fi connectivity allowing the students to work within the library premises by accessing both online and offline resources. Hence, the students feel that the environment in the university suits their learning needs.

All those who qualify are eligible for MBBS in Baba Farid University of Health Sciences as long as they have class 12 or an equivalent examination qualification with English and Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. This candidate has also secured aggregate marks not below 50% but a minimum of 40% for the candidates of the SC and ST categories. It is compulsory to clear NEET UG exam; entrance is taken as the base.

Baba Farid University Faridkot is a government university. Baba Farid University was established under an Act passed by the Legislature of the State of Punjab. The university was established in 1998. Being a government university, the fee is not very high but the facilities are good.
