The selection process for BSc courses at Baba Farid University of Health Sciences is based on merit for all specialisations, except for one specialisation i.e., BSc in Nursing. For admission to the BSc in Nursing, the college accepts the scores of the Punjab Para Medical Entrance Test (PPMET). Moreover, if candidate is getting admission to BSc courses through merit or by entrance, they are required to appear for counselling process.

The eligibility requirements for admission to BSc courses at BFUHS are that candidates must complete their Class 12 from the PCB stream with a minimum aggregate of 40%. Moreover, for some of the BSc specialisations, such as BSc (Ophthalmic Techniques), BSc (Radiotherapy Technology), BSc (Operation Theatre Technology), etc., the university accepts applicants from any Science stream- PCM/ PCB.

BFUHS has released counselling dates and schedule for Punjab NEET 2025 counselling round-3. Stray vacancy round result was announced on November 18, 2025. Seat allotment result for round-3 counselling was announced on October 23, 2025. Online registration and submission of application form is mandatory to participate in Punjab NEET 2025 counselling.
