In order to prepare for the exam you need to focus mainly on areas of accounting. Here are some of the questions that are frequently asked- Methods of depreciation, treatment for writing off bad debts in financial statements, questions on accounting principles etc.

To put it in simple terms, MBA refers to a management degree issued by a University and PGDM refers to Post Graduate Diploma in Management offered by a private college or university, affiliated with AICTE. Apart from this, there is no major difference between MBA and PGDM. And you must check out Lexicon MILE it offers both MBA and PGDM. Both colleges are best but you can think about Lexicon MILE.

Once I have been there in XIME, Bangalore and that was quite impressive and had good placement records. I am not aware about its Chennai campus. So please check the details from the campus or their website. In case you are looking BITM Pune then I would suggest there are many other colleges which are better than this in Pune area.
