The Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology, Bangalore offers full placement assistance to students through their Placement Cell as well as their many placement/ industry partners. The institute had a 74% placement rate during its 2025. As such though it may not always be guaranteed, it is highly likely for a student to receive good placements when they graduate from RGIPT Bangalore.

As a fresher, life at Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology, Bangalore is not difficult and quite nice. Students will receive a warm welcome from their seniors and teachers. Also the college has an Anti-Ragging Cell with the college premises having strict laws against such as well as the institute having quite decent students and faculty.

The biggest shock for me after starting at GIBS was the immense amount of practical learning and real business exposure that we received. The college actively engages us with guests speakers (who are often corporate leaders), and they take us on site visits to local businesses, have us do live projects, and provide access to personal mentors.
