No, the National Law School of India University Bangalore is based on entrance exam scores such as CLAT for most courses however the other courses such as MA, LLB, and PhD have their own institute in-house exams such as NLSAT-MPP, NLSAT-LLB, and NLSAT-PhD, respectively.

As a government institute the institute has no admission based on Management Quota or other means of Direct Admissions.
