For admission to the MBA programme at NSB Bangalore students should possess bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university. Also, the candidates must have valid scores in CAT/ GMAT/ XAT/ MAT/ ATMA/ CMAT/ KMAT based on which they will be shortlisted for the personal/ telephonic interview. Those who qualify for the personal/ telephonic interview round will be required to report to the admission cell at NSB Bangalore to complete the remaining admission formalities such as document verification and fee payment leading to final seat allotment.

NSB Bangalore accepts score of many national level entrance examinations conducted for admission to the management courses apart from CAT such as GMAT/XAT/MAT/ ATMA/CMAT/KMAT. Candidates having valid scores in one of the aforementioned exam will be shortlisted for the personal/ telephonic interview but for that students will first have to apply for the MBA programme by filling out the NSB Bangalore online or offline application form by paying the required application fee.

Candidates seeking admission to the MBA programme must possess a bachelor’s degree in any specialisation from a recognised university and those applicants who are waiting for their final year results may also apply but such candidates will be given provisional admission. NSB Bangalore offers a two-year full-time MBA+MIP as its flagship course comprising four semesters of a UGC-recognised and NAAC 'A+' accredited programme.
