With a rank of 37,000 in KCET, admission to ECE (Electronics and Communication Engineering) in premier Bangalore engineering colleges can be difficult, but you can still find admission in decent institutes. Some of the options are Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology, BNM Institute of Technology, Dayananda Sagar Academy of Technology, Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology, and Acharya Institute of Technology.

With a 4487 rank in COMEDK, you may face problems in getting admission in both institutes, especially RVCE. The cutoff rank at RV College of Engineering in the year 2024 was 1636 for EC for general all-India. The cutoff at BMSCE was also on the higher side in the previous years. Although it cannot be guaranteed as the cutoff varies every year as per the seat intake and applicant's score. If you are not selected, you can also apply for other institutes, which can provide you a seat based on your rank.
