The Bachelor of Computer Science (abbreviated BCompSc or BCS) is a Bachelor's degree awarded by some universities for completion of an undergraduate programme in computer Science. In general, computer Science degree programs emphasize the mathematical and theoretical foundations of computing. The duration for pursuing a B.Sc. Course is 3 years, but when an applicant opts for lateral entry admission, they are provided with the opportunity or getting into the 2nd year of this course directly, and the course duration decreases for 2 years only. Candidates should have qualified a Diploma in the same stream as that of the B.Sc. From a recognised institution. They should have scored at least 60% marks in their Diploma course.

The school of architecture and the faculty of engineering are open from 9 AM to 4 PM. On Mondays and Fridays, engineering classes meet from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, respectively. On other days, they meet from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The real class times for architecture are 9:00 Am to 4:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on all weekdays. For engineering: Depending on the session, on Saturday from 9:00 AM to 12:30 or 1:00 PM. The day starts with the Department of Professional Studies for the courses such as B.Com Professional, BBA F&A, B.Com IF whose timings are from 6:30 AM to 1 PM. The normal college timing is from 9 AM to 4 PM for other department and courses. On Saturdays, the timing is from 9 AM to 1 PM. The college ends with the Department of Professional Studies with the Choice Based Credit System Courses such as M.Sc. Strategic Management, M.A. Economics, M.Sc. Behavioural Science etc. , which is from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. On Saturdays, the timing is from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. For architecture, from the second year of Form 2 on Saturdays from 9:00AM to 1:00PM (general). If the faculty agrees, it might go until 4:00 PM. For First Years, however, it is from 9:00AM to 5:00PM. For most departments the timing is 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. But there is also the department of professional studies which conducts from 6:30 am to 1:30. For first-year candidates who studied a foreign curriculum in India that has been authorised by the UGC or AIU, there is an NRI fee. (Candidates applying under the NRI category and NRIs are exempt from the aforementioned condition. )
A candidate who has pursued and passed their most recent qualifying exam outside of India must pay the NRI fee for the entirety of the programme. Has made an application in the NRI category. The Indian/Karnataka category charge must be claimed, the applicant must have spent the previous seven years enrolled in school in India or Karnataka (Not applicable for OCI, PIO, and Foreign Nationals)
