Students taking B.Tech lateral entry can get direct admission in engineering second year after completing their diploma. Direct Admission in B.Tech lateral entry allows students to take admission via management quota seats.

In most colleges, the tuition fees for Second Year Direct Admission are generally lower, ranging from 30 thousand to 60 thousand INR per annum, for both Government and Private Colleges participating in counseling. However, top Deemed private Universities may charge higher tuition fees for B.Tech lateral entry admission due to limited seats. Typically, the total package, including tuition fees and miscellaneous charges, is around 2 to 3 Lacs INR.

Apart from the college fee, students opting for hostel accommodation would need to pay an additional fee, which varies from 50 thousand to 1 Lacs INR, depending on the college.

Yes, there are facilities of both hostel and PGs near NIFT, Bangalore. Hostel accommodation is available for girls only and for 1st year students itself, boys can opt for PGs outside college.
