Of course, make sure you have the cut off marks in class 12th.
Entrance exam rank matters too. If you can get the seat, be it CET or COMEDK, keep checking, if you can land in your desired branch at the college. You have multiple rounds too to make sure you land your specific desired choice.

It is definitely one of the best colleges in Bangalore. I have a lot of friends who studied there and placed well. In fact, various categories of companies come for placements. Also, placement opportunities could get customized depending on the course /branch that you take up. So, research on this aspect with some kind of activity, like alumni talk.

Decide the courses/branches that you want to take up based on your interests and abilities and job opportunities and your future plan. Then, based on the above factors you want see, decide the college, which is available for those courses in your particular academic year (it varies), then make the decision.
