Getting the job in Investment Banking is not easy (and that too abroad). Start applying on the website of the top investment banking firm in India (Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan Stanley, Bank of America, Credit Suisse, etc.). And, then if you wish you can go to abroad to work within the same company using employee referrals. However, for skills yes you need to have qualitative skills, should have a good understanding of Case analysis problems, very good in MS Office etc.

It is not easy to start investment banking internship. If you are from tier 1 college and doing your Masters, probability is that you may get. However, the deadline for almost all the company have been passed as of now. Try for next batch. Certain things to note is; always make a thorough research on the company that you are going to apply for (Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan Chase, Bank of America etc. ). Secondly, make a good and consider worthy profile of yours.
