The registration number and password are sent by auto-response Confirmation emails. Delivery of these emails purely depends upon the correctness of E-Mail ID provided, Policy of your E-Mail Service Provider to accept and Divert such emails under Bulk or Spam Mails or bounce back such mails without accepting it due to heavy number of emails generated by our Applications. In case of Govt./official /company Email Ids, delivery is controlled by your Company Policies. You may be guided accordingly.

After successful registration, the registration number and password are displayed. Candidates are advised to note down the same carefully and preserve it. If you do not preserve it, you will not be able to Re-Print the Application and download
the Call Letter, results etc.

At times due to poor connectivity SBI PO application form page takes time to load. Therefore, if candidates are not able to get the registration page, they should retry after a gap of 15 minutes.  Fee can be paid online only.

The window to edit SBI PO application form 2024-25 is available till January 16, 2025. Candidates can edit the details entered in the application form within the prescribed deadline. After this, the examination authority will not entertain any requests for editing of application form.

Presently, the starting basic pay is INR 48,480 (Plus 4 advance increments) in the scale of 48480-2000/7-62480-2340/2-67160-2680/7-85920 applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale-I. The official will be eligible for DA, HRA, CCA, PF, Contributory Pension Fund i.e., NPS, LFC, Medical Facility, Lease rental facility etc. and other allowances & perquisites as per rules in force from time to time. The approximate CTC at initial scale of at Mumbai Centre is INR 18.67 Lakh.

To apply for SBI PO exam, candidates must be a graduate. Without graduation candidates are not allowed to appear for the exam. Candidates who are in their final year of graduation are not eligible to apply for the exam.

On joining, the selected candidates will be designated as Probationary Officers and may be on probation for two years. They will be subjected to continuous assessment, as per Bank's extant policy, during the probation period. Those candidates who qualify in the assessment as per standards determined by the Bank from time to time, will be confirmed in the Service of the Bank in Junior Management Grade Scale-I (JMGS-I).
