Hi Sriram,
Almost, all the institutes have the same procedure that is for the first-year, you need to study all the subjects which would cover all the specialisations too. And later for the summer internships, you need to be sure as to what field you want to go in and apply for the same in the next year.

These are 3 very different fields. All 3 have equal scope in the HM field, however, the nature of the profile will differ. In marketing, you will be responsible for Advertising and Sales promotion
Sales Management Consumer Behaviour
PR and Customer Relationship Management
Product Management
International marketing
Services Marketing
In finance/Revenue Management:
Security Analysis and Portfolio Management
Project Financing
Management of Financial Services
Corporate Restructuring

Yes, marketing+finance jobs are mostly being offered here in TSM. Pure finance companies visiting our campus will around 3-10 companies only.

A sales job is good and has incremental growth but provided you should be ready to do marketing work in your finance stream. You have to take a decision based on your career goals. Where do you see yourself after 20 years? Industry requirements have turned diverse and competitive that even finance students are given sales related jobs.
