The SBI PO psychometric test takes 90 minutes to complete. The psychometric examination for the SBI PO will be given online. After joining to the post of SBI PO, candidates are on probation for two years. Candidates are required to undergo training regarding the various bank processes. After completing the probation, candidates are confirmed in the service of the bank in Junior Management Grade Scale-I (JMGS-I).

The performance in the SBI PO psychometric test is not counted for the final merit list. However, the performance in the test is shared to the interview panel. The psychometric test is qualifying in nature.
