Punjabi University offers a full-time BCA course. Candidates need to fulfil the basic eligibility criteria to be able to apply for the course. The eligibility criteria is that the candidate must have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 50% in aggregate from any stream from a recognised board. Interested candidates can visit the official website and fill out the application form before the last date.

The placement data for BCA courses are not released officially. However, the combined placement details for UG (3-year) courses are revealed in the NIRF report 2022. As per the report, a total of 72 UG (3-year) students graduated in 2021. Out of these, 59 students were placed during IMS Kolkata placements 2021. Further, the median package offered to UG (3-year) students during Institute of Management Study Kolkata placements 2021 was INR 10.20 LPA.

BCA is an attainable option. It only requires completion of a 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised board, with an aggregate of 40% to 60% in any stream (Science/Commerce/Arts).
Some notable institutions offering BCA in India include Christ University, Parul University, Delhi Technological University etc.

BCA is a three-year full-time programme divided into six semesters. Candidates need to complete Class 12 or HSc with one subject out of Mathematics/ Business Mathematics and Statistics from any recognised board or equivalent stage of education corresponding to level 4 UGC guidelines with at least 50% aggregate to apply for BCA programme. The university also offers a four-year BCA (Hons) course.
