VIT Vellore BCA admission is based on merit in the last qualifying exam. Candidates need to pass Class 12 with Mathematics/ Business Mathematics as one of the main subjects and a minimum of 60% aggregate (50% aggregate for SC/ ST candidates and applicants belonging to Jammu & Kashmir and North-Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura) to apply for BCA course. After completion of the selection rounds, candidates need to come for counselling.

Usually, if a student wants to pursue BCA from commerce background, there are n numbers of colleges which provides BCA for any stream of students. You just need min 50% in your 10+2, and you have to pass a test conducted by the college.
