To get admission in School of Computing Science, VELS Institute of Science, Technology and Advanced Studies BCA, students must meet the eligibility and selection requirement. The eligibility is to pass Class 12 in relevant subjects i.e. Maths, Computer science, etc. The final selection is merit-based on the percentage of marks secured in the qualifying examination.

There are total eight semesters in the course. The curriculum is divided in each semester. Moreover, the syllabus includes core and additional subjects. There are major and minor core subjects. Additional subjects include skill enhancement course (SEC), MDP, etc.

The total first semester fee is INR 31, 250. This fee includes many components. Some of them are academic fee, registration charges, library and administrative charges, etc. Students have to pay charges like placement fee, etc. separately.
