BDS is better as it has a higher scope and it is also considered a higher level course compared to B.Sc nursing.

For BDS you need to qualify NEET entrance exam. There are subsequent exams for BAMS.
In NEET, there are state & All India cut-off whereas for BAMS there are different exams conducted on state basis & have their own cut-off.

Yes, you have a little chance. Otherwise, try for a deemed university. You will surely get in it.

If you also prefer opportunities for private practice also, there are more earning potentials for BDS than B.Sc agriculture. Opportunities exist in state agricultural department and entrepreneurship with B.Sc agriculture.
