BFA Eligibility

Candidates who have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for reserved category candidates as per Maharashtra state government rules) and English as a passing subject can apply for BFA course at DY Patil College of Applied Arts and Crafts, Akurdi. Aspirants must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at the time of admission.

Admissions in BFA are mainly provided based on merit. Merit lists are prepared by colleges/ universities based on marks obtained by candidates in class 12th board exams. Some institutions also provide admission to candidates based on entrance exams. A BFA entrance exam typically contains both theories as well as practical papers.

The theory paper contains multiple-choice questions (MCQs) that assess candidates’ theoretical knowledge about the chosen BFA subject. In a practical paper, candidates are evaluated on their practical knowledge about the chosen BFA subject.  

The students must have passed the 12th standard from a recognised board in any stream. The students required to provide a valid UCEED score in order to apply for the course. Alternatively, the school also conducts its own design aptitude test (Chitkara University Design and Aptitude Test). To be eligibility for admission to BFA (Bachelor of Fine Arts) at Central University of Himachal Pradesh, the candidate must have passed 10+2 any stream or an equivalent examination by authorized board of state/ national level with the mentioned marks from a recognized board.
