Minimum 50% in their 12th standard Examination from any recognised board of education. Candidates must have completed their 12th grade in any discipline from a recognised board. A minimum of 50-60% in class 12th is required for applicants. Humanities/arts candidates are given preference in some colleges. Check the university's website before applying.

The BFA (Bachelor of Fine Arts) course's grades and eligibility requirements vary from university to university, and SC (Scheduled Caste) category students' scores do as well. India's university admissions procedures and cutoff scores are determined there.

The key eligibility requirements for the BFA course are thus as follows:
Candidates who have passed the 10+2 or an equivalent exam from a reputable board with at least a 50% overall score are only eligible to apply for BFA [ Bachelor of fine arts] course at Andhra university. Candidates must also get a minimum score of 50% on the entrance exam administered by Andhra University in order to be considered for admission to the Bachelor of Fine Arts programme there.

Depending on the exact college or university offering the course, the requirements for MFA acceptance may change. For entrance to the MFA programme, most institutions or universities demand a Bachelor's degree in the fine arts BFA or a closely related subject, such as the visual arts, applied arts, etc. You might not meet the requirements for MFA admission in most institutions or universities if you have a Bachelor of Science in Physics. Jamia Millia Islamia offers Bachelor of Fine Arts in various disciplines such as Painting, Sculpture, Applied Arts and Art Education. The eligibility criteria for any specialisation is Senior Secondary School Certificate examination (10+2) or any other equivalent examination with at least 50% marks in aggregate of best of 5-papers. The admission process for BFA is conducted online. Candidates are required to fill the application form, qualify the JMI Entrance Exam and appear for counselling (if selected). .

BFA or Bachelor of Fine Arts is an undergraduate degree course which deals with the study of Visual or Performing Arts. The course is sometimes also referred to as Bachelor of Visual Arts BVA in which the study of Visual Arts includes subjects such as painting, sculpture, photography, literature, animation, etc. On the other hand, the study of Performing Arts involves subjects such as dance, theatre and music. BFA Course in Chandigarh University. You can directly apply for it. But if you are willing to take the scholarship then it will be very much beneficial for you as if you can get merit position then you will be eligible for the scholarship. But make sure you are fulfilling the eligibilty for the admission that 10+2 marks. Scholarship Scheme for Under Graduate Courses (Based on 12th Exam)- Maximum 10% of total intake seats in each Course shall be offered under the scheme.
