Arignar Anna Central Library, Bharathiar University's central library was set up in1981 and covers an area of 11,230 sq ft. It has all the basic amenities a student might need, such as, chairs, tables,fans, etc.  Arignar Anna Central Library has a collection of over 190,570 volumes of all disciplines and accommodates 330 students. The minimum eligibility requirement for B.A. Course admission is a class 12 or equivalent examination pass with a qualifying percentage. Candidates further must have been awarded the UG degree by a recognised board. The university also shortlists candidates for selection based on aggregate in Class 12/or equivalent exams. Further, aspirants must have the pass Certificate at the time of form filling and admission for verification.
