From people I have spoken with, I have been made to understand that gaining admission into Bharathidasan University’s Khajamalai Campus, though a little competitive, is not out of the question for a student, who is willing to work hard on his academic performances. The competition also falls under a moderate category and admission procedure being merit based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination. I believe that the most valuable course at the Khajamalai Campus of Bharathidasan University is the MCA which stands for Master of Computer Applications. This course is well known and recognised and the university has a good reputation of placing its MCA students into good IT companies. For instance students who are doing technical courses such as computer Science and engineering always have better chances of being placed compared to their counterparts in arts or humanities departments. It is important to keep in mind that placement also relies on individual skills, networking and the economy at large. The MBA students of the Bharathidasan University Khajamalai Campus have been placed in well-known establishments that include Punjab National Bank, Axis Bank, ICICI Bank Ltd, HDFC Bank, HSBC Bank, Citi Bank, Standard Chartered Bank and Oriental Bank of Commerce . The highest CTC offered was 10 LPA and there are summer internships also which provides a good stipend amount. The placement and training cell assist in building up the student skills and job placement . About 35% of the students get placed in highly payable jobs and the pay scale around INR 153,600 .
