In BA, you will be learning the same but when talking about BBA in hospitality then some colleges have majors and minors like finance, business management and retail. Don't decide any option now. You will have 4 years of time to decide which department you want to settle. When you work hands on hands practically in each department you will understand which is better option for you. As I'm also from the same industry, I came with an idea of becoming a chef. Now I'm working on to be an sales and marketing executive. So it depends on the department you want to work. Don't decide now just study the course understand and then select the best option accordingly.

Dear Adarsh,
Your question is not clear. BHM degree cannot be of 1 year. However, let me assume that you have a BHM degree. To work in a 5 Star hotel, more than a degree, they look at your attitude, aptitude and communication skills. If you are interested in working in the Kitchen then they will go for a "trade test".

Congratulations on completing BHM. "Bright Future" is a very subjective issue and I need to know your areas of interest to answer it more convincingly. Still, I will give a general reply.
You should work for a couple of years and then if possible go abroad and do a specialised course at PG level to develop the expertise.
Hope this information helped you.

Normally, such brands don't take candidates without BHM degree but if you have exceptional abilities and skills, they may hire you at a very basic, entry level and then you can grow with your performances. To get that entry will not be easy. It will require lots of persuasions and chasing.
All the Best.
