B.Sc. In Hospitality and Hotel Administration is generally offered by Central government. IHMs and other institutes affiliated to NCHMCT and is of 3 years duration, while
BHM is mostly offered by private institutes affiliated to state universities and is of 4 years duration. Apart from this, there is no such major difference as both the degrees are equally recognised by industry and for other purposes. In salary as well, there is no difference.

Both are degrees. Different institutes place them in different main department, be it Science or Humanities. Placement depends on your own professional and communication skills.

Christ college is a good college but I think once you can try for IHM, it is in the top 2 colleges in India

These are 2 extremely contrasting streams. However, if these 2 are your options - you need to decide if you enjoy studying more or you would prefer doing more practical work - like food preparation, cooking, food service, bartending, etc. Very broadly, Hotel Management studies are slightly easier, but then there is a lot of practicals here too along with Industry training and extremely long hours at work. Hi, IHM Mumbai offers B.Sc. In Hospitality and Hotel management. There is no difference in BHM and B.Sc. The course structure remains same.
