Devki Mahavir Homoeopathic College was set up by the Vananchal Educational and Welfare Trust in Garhwa. This college is affiliated with Vinoba Have University, Jharkhand. Courses offered at this college are:
1. Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery
2. MD (Homoeopathic)
3. B.Sc. Degree in the following specializations: anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, microbiology, pathology, and pharmacology
4. M.Sc. Degree in Medical Lab Technology and other subjects
Eligibility: Candidates must have secured a 45% aggregate in 12th grade and be 17 years old to be eligible to apply. Admissions are offered on the basis of NEET scores for BHM and on a merit basis for other courses. Application fees: Rs. 500 online or submit a form through the post (Rs. 550). Facilities: The college has a hospital offering services like OPD, pathology, and OT. The college facilitates modern teaching methods, which include LCD projectors, slide projectors, overhead projectors, etc. Study tours are also conducted to ensure practical learning. It also has tie-ups with the 100-bedded Government Sadar Hospital of Jharkhand to provide training to medical students.
